College students throughout Ohio are invited to participate in the Insurance Collegiate Challenge on September 30, 2017.
Students will compete in a live simulation to run the most successful insurance company.
Students: Get real-world professional experience while building your skills and network (including resume!) toward a limitless, high-paying and meaningful career in Ohio’s insurance industry. (Learn more about careers in insurance.)
Register as a team or as an individual competitor. Registration ends September 8, 2017.
- Five teams, each made up of five undergraduate students, will compete.
Up to two team members must be enrolled in an insurance program at one of Ohio’s 10 insurance-focused programs.
Other team members are students from other majors who are interested in insurance.
There may be no more than one student majoring in actuarial science.
The Insurance Collegiate Challenge will occur on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Ohio Dominican University (Griffin Student Center).
Action will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m.
All participants will attend the Columbus Crew vs. DC United MLS game at MAPFRE Stadium following the event. The winning team will be presented on the field!
Transportation to the MLS game, and all meals will be provided.
All materials necessary for the simulation will be provided.
Hotel accommodations will be provided for teams traveling from outside the Columbus region.
Competitors will receive T-shirts and gifts.
